Refund & Rewrite Policy

Rewrites for 30 days
For 30 days after purchase you can rewrite your speech as often as you need — shorter, warmer, lighter, more formal, or with your own notes — up to 20 rewrites a day (a fair-use limit). Your own changes on your speech page are not limited. Every rewrite goes through the same automated checks. The exact end date is on your speech page and in your order email. If only one of your two tones was delivered, you can request a free rewrite in the other tone.
When you get a full refund
Your speech is personal digital content, written for you the moment you pay. So instead of refunds for a change of mind or a matter of style, we offer free rewrites. You get a full refund when:

A change of mind after writing has started, or deleting your data after your speech was delivered, does not on its own give a refund.
Purchases are processed by Link, our payment partner and seller of record, which has its own buyer refund policy, which you can find through the link in your Stripe receipt. Where Link’s policy gives you more, it applies.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to your original payment method through Link, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. Your statement shows LINK.COM* for both the payment and the refund. Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank — we reply to refund and billing emails within 48 hours.
What you agree to before payment
Because we start writing as soon as you pay, before checkout we ask for two separate statements. Neither box is ticked in advance, and you can't continue without both:
☐ Start writing my speech now. I ask Speechkindly to begin creating my speech immediately after payment.
☐ I understand that I lose my 14-day right of withdrawal once writing starts. (This applies to customers in the EU.)
We confirm both statements, with the date and time, in the confirmation email we send right after payment, before we start writing. You keep your free rewrites for 30 days, and your rights if something is wrong with your speech.
Your statutory rights
This policy adds to your legal rights and does not limit them. In the EU, the 14-day right of withdrawal ends once we start writing your speech, because you asked us to start immediately, acknowledged this before payment, and we confirmed it to you in the confirmation email we send right after payment (before we start writing). If your speech is faulty or not as described, you may be entitled to have it fixed, to a price reduction or to a refund. Consumers elsewhere keep any rights under their local law.
Abuse
We may refuse a refund that isn’t owed under this policy or by law, or stop providing the Service, if we see clear abuse — for example automated rewriting or attempts to obtain repeated refunds. This never affects refunds owed by law.
