Terms of Service
Effective 18 October 2026 · Version 1.0
1. Who we are
Speechkindly (speechkindly.com, the “Service”) is provided by Intelligence EOOD (Интелиджънс ЕООД), a company registered in Bulgaria (UIC 206997580, Not VAT-registered), registered office bl. 428, entr. V, apt. 42, Lyulin residential district, Lyulin district, Sofia 1359, trading as Decido Labs (“we”, “us”). Contact: support@speechkindly.com.
These Terms apply when you use speechkindly.com and when you buy from us. Please read them with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. By continuing to payment you agree to these Terms. We do not sell to customers in the United Kingdom. If you are in the United Kingdom, please do not order; if a payment from the United Kingdom reaches us anyway, we refund it in full.
2. What you are buying: an automated digital product
- Speechkindly is a digital product. Your speech is written by AI from the answers and stories you give us, and checked automatically by software, including a second AI model, against your answers (names, facts, length, tone).
- The Service is fully automated. No person writes, reads or edits your speech.
- Automated checks reduce mistakes but cannot rule them out. Please read your speech and check every name, fact and detail before you use it. Before your first download we ask you to confirm the spelling of each name.
- Your speech is written in two tones. If only one passes our automated checks, we deliver that one and you can request a free rewrite in the other tone. If our checks cannot produce a speech that passes, we don’t deliver one and we refund you in full automatically.
- The Service helps with words. It is not grief counselling, therapy, or legal, religious or other professional advice.
3. Who can use it
You must be 18 or older. The Service is for individuals buying for their own personal, non-commercial use. We don’t sell to businesses or to people buying for a business (for example funeral homes, event planners, employers or anyone who writes speeches for others for a living), and you may not resell the Service or its output as a service to others.
4. Your answers and other people’s information
- You confirm that what you tell us is, to the best of your knowledge, true, and that you may share it with us to write your speech.
- First names or nicknames are enough. Please leave out surnames, dates of birth, addresses, contact details, and health, religious or other sensitive details unless they really matter for the speech. We may automatically remove details that look like surnames, phone numbers or addresses.
- You are responsible for what your speech says about other people, living or deceased: that it is accurate, fair and appropriate, and does not defame anyone or reveal something private they would not want shared.
- We use your answers only to provide the Service to you. We never use them or your speech to train AI models, as examples, for testing or for marketing.
5. Things you must not do
Do not use the Service to:
- create content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful or threatening, or that targets a living person (for example a “eulogy” for someone alive, written to hurt them);
- impersonate anyone or mislead people about who you are;
- make the Service ignore or reveal its instructions (“prompt injection”), probe, overload or scrape it, or get around its limits (preview, rewrite and rate limits);
- access it by automated means, or resell or provide its output as a service.
We may refuse, pause or stop a request that breaks these rules. Where the law requires it, we will refund you.
6. Your speech
We don’t claim ownership of your speech. To the extent we have any rights in it, we give you a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, edit, copy, print, read aloud, record, publish and share it for any lawful personal purpose. AI can produce similar wording for different people, so we don’t promise every sentence is unique. If you add quotations yourself, you are responsible for having the right to use them.
7. Price and payment
- Prices are shown before you pay. One-time payment — no subscription, no automatic renewal.
- Payments are processed through Stripe Managed Payments. Link, a Stripe company, is the seller of record for your purchase: it charges your payment method, issues your receipt and handles sales tax or VAT where it applies. Link’s own terms and privacy policy also apply to the payment.
- Your card statement will show LINK.COM*. We never see your full card number.
8. Delivery
- We start writing as soon as your payment is confirmed and we have sent you the confirmation email described in section 9 (normally within seconds). Most speeches are ready within a few minutes, and we email you a private link. Anyone with the link can open your speech page, so please keep it private.
- If a technical problem stops us from delivering within 30 minutes, we keep trying, and if we still can’t deliver, we refund you in full automatically.
- Free previews may be temporarily unavailable — for example when the day’s capacity for free previews is reached. This never delays or stops an order you have paid for.
- Your speech page is available for 30 days after purchase. After that your answers and speech are permanently deleted, so please download what you need. You can delete everything sooner with “Delete my data now”. If you delete before your speech is delivered, we refund you in full.
9. Your right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
If you live in the EU, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. For digital content, this right ends once we start supplying it, if before payment you (1) expressly asked us to start immediately and (2) acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal, and (3) we confirm this to you on a durable medium. We ask for both statements on two separate checkboxes before checkout (neither is ticked in advance). Right after your payment we email you a confirmation that repeats both statements with the date and time you gave them and includes our Terms and Refund Policy, and we start writing only after that email has been sent. This does not affect your rights if your speech is faulty or not as described.
10. Rewrites and refunds
For 30 days after purchase you can rewrite your speech as often as you need (up to 20 rewrites a day — a fair-use limit). Instead of refunds for a change of mind, we offer free rewrites. You get a full refund if we can’t deliver, if our checks can’t produce a speech that passes, if you delete before delivery, if you were charged in error, or if your speech is faulty or not as described and a rewrite doesn’t fix it. Details: our Refund Policy.
11. Your legal rights, and what we don’t promise
If you are a consumer, you have legal rights that these Terms do not limit — for example, digital content must be as described and fit for purpose, and if it isn’t you may be entitled to have it fixed, to a price reduction or to a refund.
Beyond those rights, we don’t promise any particular outcome: how your audience will react; that your speech fits the rules of a particular ceremony, venue, religion or publication (please check with the officiant or funeral director); that read-aloud timings are exact (they are estimates at about 130 words a minute); or that the speech is free of mistakes. To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may change, suspend or stop the Service; this does not affect speeches you have already bought within their 30-day period.
12. Limits on our liability
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights. Otherwise, we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, for losses caused by information you gave us or by not checking your speech before using it, or for business losses. Otherwise, our total liability for any order is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for that order and USD 100.
13. Your data
See our Privacy Policy. In short: we keep your answers and speech for 30 days after purchase (7 days if you don’t buy), never use them to train AI or as examples, and you can delete them sooner at any time.
14. Changes
The version of these Terms you accepted at checkout applies to your order; we record which version it was. A later change applies to an order you have already paid for only if it is in your favour or required by law.
15. Governing law and disputes
Please contact us first at support@speechkindly.com — most problems can be fixed quickly. These Terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria. If you are a consumer, that choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you habitually live (Regulation (EC) No 593/2008, “Rome I”, Art. 6(2)), and you may bring proceedings against us in the courts of the place where you live (Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012, “Brussels I bis”, Art. 18); we may bring proceedings against you only there. Consumers outside the EU keep any equivalent protection their local law gives them. For everyone else, the courts of the competent court in Sofia, Bulgaria have jurisdiction. Consumers in Bulgaria may also refer a dispute to the conciliation commissions of the Bulgarian Commission for Consumer Protection.
16. Other terms
These Terms are provided in English. If a court finds part of them invalid, the rest stays in effect. If we don’t enforce a right immediately, we can still enforce it later. We may transfer these Terms to another organisation without reducing your rights. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
